Three Conversations

Malana and I have had some pretty deep conversations lately. Here are a few examples from yesterday:

Malana: Darcy has baby in belly!
Me: She does? That's neat!
Malana: Is baby a mermaid?

Malana: Go Grandmas's house?
Me: We would have to fly on an airplane to get there.
Malana: Pretend though?
Me: Ok, we can pretend.
Malana: Build Grandma's house?
Me: Ok, we can build it out of blocks.
Malana: Then knock it down.

Malana got a balloon from Red Robin on Sunday, and by Monday night, it wasn't floating anymore. She was very confused:

Malana: Mommy, make balloon go up!
Me: Sorry, I can't. It needs more helium to make it go up.
Malana: Have to put batteries in it!
